The PGA Baobab Course was designed by David Jones, a former Kenya Open Champion, a 'Master' PGA Professional and a Director of the European Tour. The course meets international standards, bringing an unparalleled dimension to golf in East Africa, and remains in excellent condition due to the computerised irrigation system, fine Bermuda grass, state-of-the-art green-keeping equipment and dedicated green keepers.
Using environmentally conscious maintenance systems, such as night-time only irrigation, Vipingo Ridge is at the forefront of ensuring greater sustainability through responsible practices. Further to this, an employment policy ensures that women are hired as green-keepers.
