Golf in March: Clubnite highlights
Following the launch of our new look Clubnite events at the PGA Baobab Course in January 2025, with new green fee pricing, new presentation and new every we have had another great month in March with more and more guest players joining the Vipingo Ridge Golf Club.
Here we take a look at the highlights from March:
Friday 7th March 2025
It’s a still been the expected dry season, with the greens and tees still in great shape, but some challenging conditions on the fairways. Committee Member Cherry was on hand, stepping in for the Captain for the prizegiving and presentation.

Friday 14th March 2025
A stunning sunset on the Clubhouse Rooftop meant the drinks were flowing and the delicious dinner platters were much enjoyed. The Captain Rose Musau presided over the prizegiving with some great scores after a very hot day at the Kenya coast. We were very pleased to welcome a number of guest players, with Joseph, visiting from Royal Club in Nairobi, our guest winner.

Friday 21st March 2025
We had a number of guest players for this mid-month Clubnite and a lovely sunset for the presentation. We also welcomed the Lady Captain from Windsor Golf Club to play an 18-hole round, overnight stay and Beach Club day on Saturday.

The final Clubnite of March was the start of the rains! Though of course very welcome, the rain did interrupt pla.y We moved inside to the Clubhouse dining room for the prizegiving, with Cherry from the Golf Club Committee stepping in to do the honours.

Upcoming Golf Events:
Ladies competition with 140 competitors. Registration is now open! With sponsors and retailers this should be a fantastic day of ladies golf.
We have a golf retreat for 10 golfers using a number of our different events spaces over 4 days in August.
Play our mid-month competition - 18 holes on the PGA Baobab Course - Waltz format, 18-holes competition. Prizegiving and dinner will be served at the Pool Gardens.
Callaway comes to the Kenya Coast. As part of the Vipingo Ridge x Callaway partnership there will be a special Club Fitting Event with the experts from Callaway. We are taking bookings now for limited spaces.
Each month our Members and Guests gather to compete for the Mug and Medal. This is a morning competition with lunchtime presentation.
We have a golf retreat for 20 golfers using a number of our different events spaces at the start of the September.

Notice of Essential Maintenance Work on the Course this August. From 16th August we will be hollow tining and top dressing the greens, learn about the process and the green fee discount.
Trailblazer Naom has made history as the first female member of the Professional Golfers of Kenya (PGK), turning Professional after a 20 year career as an amateur golfer.
