New Golf Calendar: A busy July
On 1st July the weekly schedule for the Golf Club changed to create new opportunities for Members and Guests to experience the PGA Baobab Course.
The changes have been well received with Members of the golf club gathering on Wednesdays to join the tennis and boules players at the Pool Gardens. The new Friday Roll Up has proven to be popular, particularly with guests, welcoming over 100 golfers on some of the Fridays in July.

July brought another month of exciting competition and exceptional golf to the stunning PGA Baobab Course, with both members and guests delivering stellar performances across a series of competitive events. These competitions proved to be a true test of skill, consistency, and sportsmanship.
Clubnite - 2nd July
Tim Williams kicked off the month in winning form, claiming victory. Joe Carvalho put in a strong performance to finish as Runner-up.
Clubnite - 9th July
Tim Williams proved his consistency, securing another Clubnight win. Richard Frost earned the Runner-up spot.
Clubnite - 16th July
Making it a remarkable hat-trick for the month, Tim Williams emerged victorious once again. Elizabeth Rune played superbly to finish as Runner-up, while Cavious Pennington was recognized as the Best Guest.
Mid-month Tombstone Competition - 19th July
The unique Tombstone format produced worthy winners across categories: Betty Bundotich demonstrated top form as Best Lady, Chris Wilson excelled as Best Man, and Ben Pennington was celebrated as Best Guest.
Clubnite - 23rd July
Patrick Ndunda claimed the top honor on this Clubnite, with Rose Musau securing a well-deserved Runner-up position.
Monthly Mug & Medal - 26th July
The coveted Monthly Medal was brilliantly won by Sue Williamson, and the prestigious Monthly Mug was lifted by Giancarlo Bonano.
The Caddies - 29th July
Eaach month we have a Caddy competition on a Tuesday. This special event saw Gilbert Mwavita crowned as the Overall Champion. Mary Mwatu impressed with a Runner-up finish, and Helen Jilani shone as the Best Lady. In a fantastic gesture recognizing their vital role, all caddies were presented with official championship shirts as they represent Vipingo Ridge in the National Caddy Championships.
Clubnite - 30th July
Capping off a truly dominant month, Tim Williams clinched the top spot once more. Chris Everard delivered an excellent performance to take the Runner-up position.
July’s competitions highlighted the depth of talent and enthusiasm at Vipingo Ridge, setting the stage for even more thrilling contests in the months ahead.
