Vipingo Ridge is great for family fun, and this half term we have a great programme across a variety of activities and interests, as well as some fantastic offers on accommodation.

Half Term Highlights

Vipingo Ridge is a vibrant place, with over 60 rooms of accommodation for guests in our Signature Villas and over 100 houses occupied with Members during the holidays. For our Members and Guests we have a number of different ways to socialise and relax at the Kenya Coast.

To help all schools have a chance to join us our activities run from 13th February 2026 until 22nd February 2026.

Our three restaurants are all open at the high season hours, offering a variety of experiences.

What to expect at this Half Term

Three times a week children can socialise in a teacher-led three-hour activity morning.
Tailored to the age of the children and with activities ranging from arts and crafts, wildlife awareness and sports we keep them well entertained.
Wednesday’s at Sunset (6:00PM) our Members gather poolside for our Pizza and Pasta Specials night.
Play pool or table football, swim in the lit pool or relax as the sun goes down as a family.
Friday Night is movie night from 6:30PM
Order a pizza, enjoy free popcorn and relax in front of the big screen for a family friendly film.
Our Beach Club is a great family friendly environment, with a Kids Menu and plenty of space to play on the white sand.
From football and volleyball, to playing in the ocean there plenty to keep active kids busy, and on Saturday’s in half term we also have live music.
There are year round activities that are perfect for children.
Our ponies carry only up to 60kgs and are perfect for young ones to be led by our experienced team.
There are wild animals (including giraffe) and our Rangers can help with a fun game drive within the Ridge.
On Mondays we have complimentary beginners golf on the driving range - including kids golf clubs to borrow.

Friday 13th February

Join the Friday Roll up - from 7:00AM with tee times throughout the day with prize giving at the Clubhouse

Ladies Mix-In - meet at 8:30AM for the Ladies-only round.

Welcoming the inaugural flight to Vipingo Ridge from Wilson by Skyward Airlines.

Cocktail Party at the 19th - from 6:30PM at the Clubhouse we’ll be hosting a cocktail party to celebrate the launch of the new partnership with Skyward Airlines.

Saturday 14th February

Valentines Golf Competition - join a mixed couples competition on the PGA Baobab Course, with prizegiving and dinner at the Pool Gardens. Pre-booking only for a 3-course Valentines Menu at the Pool Gardens. Live music following the golf prizegiving for the afternoon competition.

SIX NATIONS RUGBY Pool Gardens Bar Ireland v Italy 5:10PM and Scotland v England 7:40PM in the bar.

VALENTINE'S AT THE BEACH From 12:00PM, The Beach Club Delicious specials, including Oysters and Wine and the a la carte favourites in a romantic setting on the sand with live music from 5:00PM.

Sunday 15th February

Beach Club - Sundays are the busiest day at the Beach and prior booking is recommended. We open from 12:00PM. Weekend food special: Wine and Kilifi Oyster Specials at the Beach Club.

Monday 16th February

Rooftop Yoga - from 8:30AM at the Clubhouse Rooftop, a one hour practice with an instructor (pay 1,500/- direct to the instructor)

Kids Holiday Club - from 9:00AM-12:00PM at the Sundowner

Beginners Golf - from 10:00AM-11:00AM on the Driving Range with KGU Professional Promise

Tuesday 17th February

Zumba Class - 8:30AM at the Sundowner one hour practice with an instructor (pay 1,500/- direct to the instructor)

Wednesday 18th February

Join Clubnite - from 7:00AM competition and prize giving at the Pool Gardens

Kids Holiday Club - from 9:00AM-12:00PM at the Sundowner

Social Clubs - Tennis, Padel and Boules from 4:30PM at the Sports Club

Pizza and Pasta Night - from 6:00PM at the Pool Gardens

Thursday 19th February

Zumba Class - 8:30AM at the Sundowner

PADEL INTRODUCTION 4:00PM-6:00PM, the Sports Club Free session to learn more about our newest sport. Equipment included.

HALF TERM POSTER

Why not fly to the Ridge this half term?

We have recently announced a new scheduled flights service with Skyward Airlines, flying from Wilson to Vipingo on Fridays and Sundays. The inaugural flight is on Friday 13th February 2026 and on every Sunday and Friday going forwards.
