Spectacular GoJumpKenya event at the Vipingo Ridge Beach Club
On 3rd September 2023 the third annual Sky Diving Boogie event launched at Vipingo Ridge Beach Club.
The ‘boogie’ is a week long festival of licensed skydivers, an international celebration of the adrenaline, euphoria and freedom of sky diving. The event brought notable skydivers from across the globe to the Mombasa coast to enjoy our idyllic setting and Kenyan hospitality.
The host and organiser is Zainab, she’s the Director of Go Jump Kenya and we’re delighted that she chose Vipingo Ridge as her partner for this festival event.
A global community
Zainab is a Kenyan skydiving instructor and passionate about bringing this amazing adrenaline-fuelled experience to those exploring the Kenyan coast.
A true professional, she is an ambassador for Kenya and her events are a fantastic way to attract interest in travelling to Kenya.
This year we had 16 skydivers staying with us in our villas from Canada, Egypt, Germany, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Ukraine and the USA.
Every day jumping, every evening having fun
The festival program was well planned, aiming to give the full Vipingo Ridge experience to the Go Jump Kenya guests.
One of the skydivers had this review of the event:
My name is Toni: I am a elementary teacher from Florida. I found skydiving at 47 after losing my husband of 26 years. I was very lost and Immediately hooked. In 3 years, I have 34 different drop zones, many different aircrafts, and almost 300 jumps in my log book.
My most awesome skydiving moment: That’s a hard one because they are all special in their own way. My first standup landing, first beach landing, first bi-plane, first heli jump, first hot air balloon. First out of country jump….and all the people who make each one of those moments truly special. How can you pick?
Most memorial moment at the magical Go Jump Kenya Boogie: Oh man. Again, hard to pick. The venue that looked like some exotic place off the travel channel, 50th Birthday landing with my name spelled out in the sand, first out of country jump onto the white sand beach in Kenya, Africa! First inflatable jump, landing on a PGA golf course with giraffes waiting to greet you….but nailing a 4 way hybrid with 3 other amazing skydivers who I am blessed to share the air with stands out above the rest.
The people are always what makes any event memorable. This event had no shortage of amazing people with incredible talent.

Launch of Kenya Riveria
On the final day of the Sky Diving Boogie, our Sunday Beach Party, we were delighted to be joined by our Governor of Kilifi County, H.E. Gideon Maitha Mung’aro fresh from launching a new tourism product #ExperienceKilifi - The Kenyan Riveria.
