Epic Mercedes-Benz Weekend at Vipingo Ridge
In May Vipingo Ridge entered into a new partnership with Mercedes-Benz, a brand aligned with our luxury and community engagement focus. Our first event together was a combination of test driving and golf - a Mercedes-Benz weekend takeover.
Test Drive the new GLE at Vipingo Ridge
The long weekend began on Friday when test drive appointments for Guests and Vipingo Ridge Members experiencing the new 2025 models, including the opportunity to drive the new Mercedes-Benz GLE.
Guest feedback was very positive, one noted: ‘This was a very, very nice car. A really smooth drive, with a lot of technology and spacious inside.’
We thank Mercedes-Benz for their generous use of the vehicles and wish them well with the conversations started.
Golf Challenge and Automotive Excellence
One test drive was for the golfer from their Vipingo Ridge residence to the course, with their Golf Clubs fitting perfectly into the car - a perfect moment of this partnership coming to life.
On Saturday the golf competition began. The Mercedes-Benz Saturday Stableford welcomed a selected group of Vipingo Ridge Members, Guests from the Coast Clubs and beyond.
The weather was interesting. The rains though intermittent, were hard, creating challenging and varied conditions for the 18-holes.

Golf Awards and Celebrations
The rainy golf was followed by a warm reception. Our epic makuti Sundower space was the venue for the prizegiving and dinner.
We celebrated a successful 18-hole challenge conquered, and Mercedes-Benz prizes were very welcome. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to the competitors for their perseverance in difficult golfing conditions.
