June Golf Roundup: A Month of Thrilling Victories and Standout Performances
June 6 – Clubnite
The month teed off with Nick Walters clinching victory, edging out Runner-Up Sue Williamson. Walters’ win set the pace for June’s competitive spirit.
June 13 – Clubnite
Joe Carvalho rose to the occasion, sealing the win with precise shot-making, while Tim Williams finished strong as Runner-Up, signaling himself as a player to watch.
June 20 – Clubnite
Nick Walters claimed his second win of the month, solidifying his status as one of the month’s in-form players. Joe Carvalho stayed consistent as Runner-Up, while Denis Owino earned Best Guest honors.
June 21 – Mid Month Casino
The Mid-Month Casino event brought high stakes and excitement. Hanif Whali emerged as overall winner, with Betty Bundotich as Runner-Up and Joe Carvalho in Third, underscoring his relentless consistency.
June 23 – Caddies Monthly Tournament
The Caddies Monthly Tournament showcased brilliant talent. Mosese Epili took top honors as Winner, with Gilbert Mwavita finishing Runner-Up. Omar Suleiman claimed Third, while Hellen Jilani was celebrated as Best Lady.
June 27 – Clubnite
Rashid Juma powered his way to victory with confident drives and solid putting. Tim Williams again showcased his resilience, finishing Runner-Up for the second time in June.
June 28 – Preferred Personnel Mug & Medal
June culminated in the prestigious Preferred Personnel Mug & Medal. Joe Carvalho capped his stellar run by winning the Mug, while Rose Musau secured the Medal. Hilda Mugure shone as Best Guest, and Christine Dhanji triumphed in the Subsidiary Event, with J.D. Ndungu close behind.
June was defined by thrilling rivalries and personal triumphs. As the season continues, all eyes will be on these standout players.
