Vibrant Culture and Wellness Beach Market

From Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31, 2025, Vipingo Ridge Beach Club played host to the inaugural Triple T (Taste · Thrive · Trade) Culture & Wellness Market, a vibrant three-day Pan-African celebration uniting culture, wellness, and sustainability.

Triple T: Culture & Wellness Market at the Vipingo Ridge Beach Club

Organized by Karen Flea Market of Kenya and Kigali FAAM of Rwanda, the market showcased artisans, chefs, and agri-foodpreneurs from across Africa and beyond, in a purpose-driven festival rooted in conscious living and community.

The event combined culture and creativity with food, wellness, and trade.

Guests experienced eco-concious activities, kids play area, alongside Afro-fusion cuisine and indigenous cooking demonstrations that highlighted the region’s culinary heritage. The wellness element included herbal workshops and guided meditation circles, while the curated vendor village showcased East African artisans and ethical brands, creating a well round platform for cultural exchange and conscious living.

An Eco-concious Event

Sustainability was woven into the festival, beginning with a beach clean-up on the opening day.

In partnership with Eco World Recycling, a garbage collection company, all waste collected was transported for sorting, with recyclable materials to be separated for reuse and the rest disposed of responsibly. This initiative set the tone for the event’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Over 120kgs of waste were collected by the volunteers.

The market also catered to families by incorporating a Kids’ Corner, created in partnership with Mudzini International School, providing a safe and engaging space for children while parents explored the market.

Running from noon into the evening daily, the festival attracted visitors from across the coastal region.

The event was further strengthened by the contribution of its sponsors and partners, including from Mwihoko, EBee, Purifaaya (Ceramic Water Purifier), Award Tours and Safaris Ltd, African Food Fellowship, Oceans Alive, Chariot Creations, EcoWorld Recycling, Mudzini School, MWK, Moyo Moja, CAM, Odour & Siminyu Company Advocates, and Centum. Their involvement reflected the wide-reaching support for the festival’s mission of culture, wellness, and sustainability.

By the close of the weekend, Triple T had proven itself as a defining celebration of culture, wellness, and sustainability on the Kenyan coast, laying a solid foundation for future editions at Vipingo Ridge.
